Kern County Waste Management Department will be collecting hazardous waste at the Kern Valley Transfer Station located at 9800 Sierra Way on:
September 4, 2010 from 9:00 am until 12:00 pm 
This collection even is for RESIDENTS ONLY.
Business waste is accepted by appointment only by calling 661-862-8922.
Transportation Guidelines
- Transport no more than 15 gallons or 125 pounds of waste per trip
- Make sure containers are not leaking and are properly labeled
- Containers must be 5 gallons or smaller
- Keep waste separated and away from passengers
- DO NOT MIX WASTE
